Spicy Gin Gimlet Cocktail
This has been one of my favorite cocktails to make my guests recently. Zesty gin, a dash on heat & can be made super quick.
I introduce to you - a Spicy Gin Gimlet.
I recently made this for my dinner party at the July and it was absolutly loved by all the guests. The only reason that the “prep” time is so long is if you want to make the chili in ice cubes. It just needs that time to freeze. If you don't have that time, you can easily just cut up some chili and throw it in the drink. Beware how much you put in because it gets spicy super quick.
Ingredients
2 oz gin of choice
0.75 oz lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup (1:1, sugar:water)
1 small chili (put in ice)
Directions
Get an Ice tray and fill it with water
Get your small chili (or as many as you want) and put it in each cube.
Put this in the freezer and allow to freeze
Get you gin of choice, lime juice and simple syrup and put in a cocktail mixer (or glass if you don't have one).
Shake (or mix) together.
Pour into your glass
Add the ice with chili
Alt: if you don't have time for freezing the ice with chili, you can always cut up the chili and add it to the glass.
